Black Jewish Black Mind United Nations Workshop

A workshop on the history of Black Americans with slave ancestry and their association with Jewish ancestry from Africa could focus on the unique experiences and cultural traditions of this group of people. Some potential topics for such a workshop could include:

*The history of the transatlantic slave trade and the role that it played in bringing Africans to the Americas, including those with Jewish ancestry. *The ways in which African slaves with Jewish ancestry maintained their cultural traditions and practices in the face of slavery and oppression. *The diverse experiences of Black Americans with Jewish ancestry in the United States, including the ways in which they have negotiated their identities as both Black and Jewish in a society that often sees these identities as conflicting. *The contributions that Black Americans with Jewish ancestry have made to American society, including in areas such as civil rights, politics, and the arts. *The challenges that Black Americans with Jewish ancestry have faced, including discrimination and prejudice within both the Black and Jewish communities. The workshop could include a mix of lectures, discussions, and interactive activities to help participants learn about and understand the history and experiences of Black Americans with Jewish ancestry. It could also include a focus on the cultural traditions and practices of this group, such as music, art, literature, and religious practices.
